Message from the Artistic Directorate

The Artistic Directorate has been responsible for the musical direction of Gramophone Chorus since its inception

Through weeks and months of preparation under our auspices, the Chorus is able to stage quarterly productions such as the flagship Fellowship of Songs (FoS), as well as the Gramophone Ghana Concert Series, GGCS (themed “No Greater Love”) , The Messiah (themed “Man, Christ, God”) and the Gramophone Experience (themed “For the Love of Jesus”)

Our bearing in every endeavour seeks to primarily glorify God and also edify His people, which arches the selection of songs and themes as seen above.

We are dedicated not only to technical professionalism but also, that our work continues to edify God’s people by His grace.

Events

Fellowship of Songs

Fellowship of Songs (FOS) is our Flagship Event as has been organized every quarter since 2014.

It is a Service of Songs led by Gramophone Chorus which seeks to bring together lovers of good Christian music to listen to and sing hymns and other spiritual songs for edification. The event typically involves performances by the choir interspersed with congregational singing, a sermonette by a seasoned speaker, testimonies, and prayer time.

New Year Voice College (NVC)

New Year Voice College is an annual conference for singers, instrumentalists, and other choral and classical musicians, where the teaching and learning of proper musical techniques are undertaken.  It provides a platform for people who wish to improve upon their musicianship to learn from experts.
